No. 21 (b), IHS, Thy will be done, in loving memory of Katie McTernan, nee Crowe from Friarstown, Killanummery parish, Died January 21, 1955. Her husband Martin McTernan, --12-12-1985. Stone erected by the family.

No. 66, In loving memory of James McTernan, --11-28-1946, from the Townland of Beagh, Killanummery parish. His wife Mary Jane, --11-8-1929. Their daughter, Babby, 6-1-1932. Their son Frank McTernan, --8-19-1977. RIP, erected by their loving family.

No. 67, Erected by their loving son James McTernan from the Townland of Killanummery in memory of his father Pat McTernan, 1834--9-5-1881. Also his mother Anne McTernan, 1841--5-9-1911.

No. 68, Here lyeth the body of Farel Ternan who departed this life 10-8-1781 at the age of 71 years.

No. 71 (oldest gravestone at the Abbey) Here lyeth the bodies of Hugh O Roirk and Catherin McTernan who departed this life 5-22- 1721.

No. 72, (Sheskin McTernan line) Pray for the soul of Hugh McTernan who departed this life March 17, 1781 aged 73 years, erected by his son Hugh McTernan.

No. 74, Patrick McTernan, 1821--6-6-1883 from the Townland of Leonagh. Also his daughter, Elizabeth C. Flannery, nee McTernan, 1863--5-26-1895. Interred in Derry his son Francis McTernan, 1854--11-27-1910, also his daughter Beatrice Maud McTernan age 16 months, and Elizabeth McTernan wife of above? (Patrick?), and Patrick McTernan, 1830--6-3-1922. Erected in fond remembrance by Francis and James McTernan.

No. 117, Charles McTernan, --6-1-1940, from the Townland of Sweetwood, Killarga civil parish, his wife Catherine, --9-5-1955, and their son John Joe McTernan, --4-4-1978.

No. 118, James McTernan, --1892, from the Townland of Cashel, Mohill civil parish. His wife Ellen, --10-30-1934, erected by their son John McTernan.

No. 129, (may be connected to Sheskin line) Hugh McTernan Esq. from Townland of Mount Allen, Co Roscommon who departed this life 6-9-1832 at the age of 72 and his daughter, Elenora and five sons namely Hugh, Bryan, Charles, John and Francis McTernan Esquires all of whom departed this life in the prime of youth.

No. 131, This monument was erected in memory of Chas McTernan by his father Hugh McTernan of Mount Allen Esq. July 25, 1829. (may be same as No. 129 above)

No. 145, James McTernan, 1808--3-29-1883 of the Townland of Tubbernana and his wife Mary, 1817--4-1-1892, erected by their sons, Patrick and Martin McTernan.

No 195, IHS / In loving memory of Kate McTernan, nee Gillen of Greaghnafarna. Died Sept 16, 1907. Her son Martin McTernan, died Jan 13, 1923. Mary McTernan died Feb 10, 1941. Also her daughters: Nora died Aug 5, 1914. Elizabeth died Aug 3, 1922. Owen McTernan died April 24, 1968. RIP. Erected by Owen McTernan.

No. 80, Lord have mercy on the soul of Cathrine McTernan, nee McMo....y who departed this life March 1, 1829 aged 53 years. Erected by Loughlin McTernan her husband.

No 81, Lord have mercy on the soul of Patrick McTernan who died May 15, 1880 aged 22 years and his sister, Kate McTernan who died Aug 28, 1881 aged 9 years. Also John McTernann died 1949, his wife Anne died 1938, their children James and Nellie died 1911 and 1924 [respectively[. His brother James McTernan of Calry who died April 16, 1952 his wife Bridget who died July 6, 1901. Also is daughter, Bridget who died March 31, 1914. Patrick McTernan, Calry died July 19, 1973 and James (Jimmy) McTernan died June 3, 1977.
