Susannah Carney married George E Oakley of Loudoun Co. VA. George Oakley fought in the Revolution and settled on the Smith-Wilson County border in TN. Some of his descendents came down the Cumberland River by flatboat to Dickson Co Tn, and then on by flatboat to Trigg County Ky where both my great and g great parents are buried.
