Maisey Watson, nee McTiernan in Brisbane. Maisey was elected the Queen of Public Service of Queensland. Also, was General MacAuthor's administrator chief of staff and used to travel with him and his staff to New Guina for war plans. Also ran a bus service from Caloundra to Brisbane. Watson Park in Caloundra is named after her husband. During the war no one had time for lunch, so Maisey invented the Australian meat pie which was at the time the equalivant to the American hot dog.
