Celebration of 50 Years in the Priesthood 

On April 14, 1999 FJ and I had lunch at the Union League of Chicago to celebrate two events.

My formal conversion to the Republican party [hence the location] and the far more important one of FJ being in the Priesthood for 50 years. It was a great time with FJ at his best talking about old times at Quincy and also local Chicago politics. FJ seems to be in good health and after a great walking tour of Chicago, I was puffing not FJ.
