Connaught Rangers Died: 31st October 1918 Commemorated: ERQUELINNES COMMUNAL CEMETERY Belgium Grave 140. Additional Information: Age 37 Son of Thomas and Mary McTernan, of Fawn, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim. Erquelinnes Communal Cemetery is located 21 kilometres south east of Mons on a road leading from the N40 Chaussee de Beaumont, which connects Mons to the village of Erquelinnes. On reaching the village the cemetery is located 50 metres along the Rue Madame. On the North-East side of the Communal Cemetery is the plot of war graves.
