My name is Tom Byrne. I was born in Eccles Street, Dublin in September 1 1957. My father was John Patrick Byrne and my mother was Mary Byrne (nee Lillis). My father was one of ten children, 5 boys and five girls born in Kirwan Street cottages off Manor Street, Dublin 7. His father was Sylvester Byrne who was married to Ethel Byrne (nee Emerson). I am married to Blathnaid Byrne (nee McCarthy) and we have five children, Ross bornSeptember 30 1981, Hugh, PJ, Joe Eva, born Ferbruary 7 1992 (quadruplets). We live in Ennis, Co. Clare.
