When I wrote you in October of 1998, I was not on the Internet and did not
have e-mail. Just signed on last week and am learning how to communicate. I
did appreciate your sending the information about the McGreal/McGrail Family
but I have not gotten out of PA. I've not even tried as other lines have taken
my time. If you want to update my information for your website and possible
contacts, here is the lineage as determined by a distant cousin (PA) and me
(OH). When the McGrails moved from PA to OH they were Quakers and it is from
those records that I established family lines, supported by official
documents.
	Elizabeth Megrail Cox 1863-1934 Jefferson and Harrison Cos, OH (my
ggrandmother)
	John Langley Megrail 1838-1898 Jefferson Co, OH
	James W. McGrail 1798-1875 York Co, PA and Jefferson Co, OH
	Thomas McGrail 1775-1842 York Co, PA and Jefferson Co, OH
	James McGrail c1752-1785 Chester, PA and York Co, PA
	Owen McGrail c 1720-c1802 Immigrant to York Co, PA (signed Griel on will)
		Owen is listed on the Chester Co Tax List in 1753, but I have no other
information about his arrival in the states.
	The distant cousin who has done a lot of research in PA is Helen Megrail
Schoettle of Paoli, PA.
