immigrants from http://mctiernan.com/adam.htm and from
http://mctiernan.com/hans.htm
The migration path of our Bender family line was from
Rettigheim, Baden to Mühlhausen, Baden to America to St. Louis
Co., MO and Jefferson Co., MO (most likely Arnold, MO), to Mascoutah,
IL
and O'Fallon, Illinois.

across Europe and was one of the major causes of emigration as it was
for
my four European families as they all immigrated between
1848 and 1856. Andreas Schmitt is my Bender / Blaies generation's
6th cousin, 3
generations removed.
